While Ron had decent shots.. Here’s what I had.. (-__-)

Hey Hey Hey, as I’ve told you in my previous postDirections to Damires Hills. I’ll be posting the photos I shot in this resort.
So here we go… 🙂
If you’re looking for a chance to get away from the city to collect your thoughts and go back with a much calmer version of yourself then I’d really recommend Damires Hills as a great solution for a great escape. Not to mention cheap rates for their rooms and open cottages.
Here are some of my shots for their daytime cottages.

My favorite place in Damires Hills
As to Families, Lovers or Barkadas who just wants quality time with not much of those loud noise we hear in the city this is a great place for you. When we stayed here it was just them birds chirpin’ in the morning and crickets n’ frogs croaking in the evening ’twas just the perfect legit background music for reminiscing and warm convos..
We stayed at room Zinia in the new building, that room will now and forever be my favorite room in Damires. Haha! Cozy room with a veranda at the back (same goes with all the rooms in the new building) Here are some of the rooms/balays..

Love the fact that they have Duyans in every open-cottage and in some areas (nostalgic)

THIS RESORT IS WORTH CHECKING OUT! 😀 (Not only is this a farm-like resort but they also have functions rooms and places for Team building/Leadership trainings!)
Thanks for reading! 🙂 – AENRI (Aah-Yen-Ree)
A few weeks ago I was invited to take pictures of the resort for their 4th anniversary and the day of their anniversary. So I called Ron out to go with me and stay the night at the resort along with my dear life partner Khlea who works there. (Hey bae! Hehe)
I will be posting the photos I took for Damires Hills on my “TRIPS TO JANIUAY” category (<– I will be inserting the link for the photos here later…)
Damires Hills is located at Brgy. Damires in Janiuay, Iloilo.
It’s just a 30-45 minute drive from the city.
There are 2 routes that I’ve driven through so far.. (curious if there are other routes I could take for fun! please comment or leave me a message if you’ve taken other routes besides these)
One is taking the road coming from Jaro Plaza off to follow the road to CPU (Central Philipppine University) to Ungka terminal to Janiuay.
While the other is my current favorite..
From SM City, Diversion Road going to the Airport but before entering the gates of the airport there is this other roadto the right that leads you to the road to CABATUAN, what’s nice about this route is since this road is near the airport you could see all the planes either taking off or landing a few miles away from you..
(plus the fields, ‘that’ one tree that looks like the tree from the “Wild thornberrys” and farm animals) Seeing the runway is the best thing to see at night especially when a plane is landing.
This week was awesome, there was a plane about to land and it was just right above the pick-up truck that I was driving! We were too happy about it that we didn’t have the time to get our camera! Haha.
So yeah, try taking this route one time and you’ll know what I mean.
But for those who wants to ride a JEEP going to Janiuay, You could take a jeep in TAGBAK TERMINAL which costs around P28
FROM TAGBAK TERMINAL
The earliest jeep goes around 6:00 AM
The last jeep at around 9:00 PM
FROM JANIUAY TO ILOILO
The earliest jeep goes around 4:30/5:00 AM
The last jeep at around 6:00 PM
When you reach the plaza you could ask where to get a TRICYCLE going to Damires it’s not that far from the plaza and take you about 5 mins or less to go there. The Plete or FARE for the Trike is P20/person
Khlea told me that you could ride a jeep that goes to BADIANGAN because the jeep’s route passes by the gates of DAMIRES HILLS.
(But I haven’t ridden that one yet)
The Badiangan jeep costs around P30
